Belfast Community TV is a non profit local public access channel for our small coastal town. We have some pretty cool local shows and we want folks beyond our cable area as well as local folks to be able to see them on-demand.

The Game Loft

The Game Loft is organizing “Reach Out to ME: I’ll be there”, an innovative postcard exchange initiative. People are welcome to write a postcard to a kid in need and The Game Loft hopes to send out 200 postcards a day to kids in the local area. People who are interested can drop the postcards off at 78A Main Street in Belfast and The Game Loft will address the card and send it out.

The Game Loft is also providing free lunches in Belfast on a grab-and-go basis from 12-2pm, 7 days a week to all school-aged youth regardless of Game Loft membership.

Belfast Historical Society

Belfast Museum in the Streets -

A heritage-discovery tour which features 30 panels and two large map panels. The tour is made up of photographs and interpretive text describing historic houses, the downtown, the waterfront and a few of our best-known men and women. All panels give the viewer a sense of place. It is designed as a bi-lingual history walking tour. We have chosen French as the second language in recognition of the Franco-American community within Maine.

While at home, you may want to brush up on Belfast and Maine history. The Historical Societies website, offers 53 "Window on History" lecture series at the VIDEO page.
