Ayurveda, Yoga, and You w/ Ananda Yoga

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga, the healing science of life. Where yoga is the spiritual exploration toward self-realization, Ayurveda is the preventative and holistic approach of keeping the physical body and mind healthy and attuned to the natural world. Ayurveda offers healthy diet and lifestyle knowledge to help us establish and maintain a healthy life.
In this workshop you will be introduced to basic concepts of Ayurveda, take a survey to identify your body/mind type, or Dosha, and explore how this knowledge can help you assess your own physical/mental stress and imbalances. You will learn what yoga practices are best for your dosha type and simple adjustments you can make toward greater balance, svastha. Greater balance means greater body/mind health, thus providing a greater capacity for the practice of yoga and living a well-balanced life.
This workshop begins with a yoga practice and includes journaling. Bring a mat (or use ours), and bring your journal.
