Bangor Ballet’s “Enchanted” at the Crosby Center

October 3 @ 6:06 am

An Original Production of “Enchanted” Takes the Stage in Spring 2018

[Bangor, ME] February 5, 2018 — Bangor Ballet is happy to announce its Spring 2018 performances of “Enchanted: Stories from Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty” in Bangor, Belfast, and for the first time, Lewiston. As always, Bangor Ballet’s production will feature exquisite costumes and dancing as well as choreography by the talented Roberto Forleo.

“Enchanted” begins with the familiar sounds of Tchaikovsky’s melodies from Act II of Swan Lake as Queen Odette tells her Prince of the horrid spell that has been cast upon her and her companions.  Though Prince Siegfried is determined to save Odette, it appears he may be too late…  Act II of “Enchanted” will bring forth Act III from the timeless fairytale, The Sleeping Beauty.  With visits from various fairies, Little Red Riding Hood, Puss in Boots, the White Cat, and the Bluebird, Aurora’s wedding is sure to bring the magic of this fairytale to life!

Whether you are a child or an adult reminiscing on timeless classics, Bangor Ballet’s “Enchanted” will take you to the land of spells and magic!

Four performances of “Enchanted” will take place on the following days:

  •  March 18 at 2 pm at the Gendron Franco Center in Lewiston
  •  March 24 at 7pm at the Gracie Theatre in Bangor
  •  March 25 at 2pm at the Gracie Theatre in Bangor
  •  April 8 at 2pm at The Crosby Center in Belfast

For those seeking enchanted entertainment, ticket prices will be $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bangorballet.org or by calling Bangor Ballet at 207-945-5911.  Tickets will also be available for purchase (beginning February 10th) at Thomas School of Dance for the Bangor performances, and Left Bank Books for the Belfast performance.
