Book Club- Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition
November 30, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree!
On Wednesday, November 30 from 6 to 8 pm at the Belfast Free Library, the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition invites community members to discuss their next book club selection, The Nature Principle: Reconnecting with Life in a Virtual Age by Richard Louv. The Library, located at 106 High Street in downtown Belfast, is co-sponsoring this event.
The immediacy of Louv’s message in his earlier book Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder galvanized an international movement to reconnect children with nature. Now, in The Nature Principle, Louv reaches even further with a powerful call to action for the rest of us. A limited number of copies of the book are available at Belfast bookstores and through inter-library loan. Participants are encouraged to have read the book beforehand.
