Intro to Embroidery with Isabelle
In her intro class in this series, Isabelle will explore varying fabrics, threads, and needles, and the different roles they can play within your embroidery practice. Transfer methods will be lightly touched upon as well!
You will learn how to bind your hoop to prevent your fabric from slipping, start and finish your embroidery, and basic embroidery stitches including straight stitch, running stitch, seed stitch, back stitch, split stitch, stem/outline stitch, satin stitch, chain stitch, french knot, and bullion. Cotton muslin with a pre-transferred image will be provided for students to practice stitches during class time.
