Join Abby Gilchrist & Julie Letowski for an evening of throw pillows and breaking in Fiddlehead’s new classroom! Students in this class need to be flexible as we’ll be testing out not only the best way to fit a larger number of students into the classroom but also making sure the space is prepared to have many sewing machines and irons running at once.
Throw Pillow Cover with Boxed Corners
Looking for a simple and stylish way to refresh your living space? Want to help your local fabric store work out potential kinks in their new classroom space before fall classes begin? Then this *FREE* class is for you!
Join us in learning how to sew our throw pillow covers with boxed corners in our brand new classroom space! We’ll get all the irons hot, have every machine humming, and learn how to sew something sweet for your home while helping us test the layout and electric in our new space!
Materials to Bring:
A Note on Materials:
The classroom is equipped with many of the above materials (rotary cutters, scissors, acrylic rulers) and students are welcome to use them as needed, though these tools will be shared amongst the group. We encourage students to bring their own *labeled* tools if they have them so that as much of your class time can be spent working as possible.
Experience Level
Beginner. Students must have a basic understanding of machine sewing. You will be using a rotary cutter and need to sew a basic straight stitch on the machine.
Age
18 & up
Location
Our classroom space is on the second floor of our building. Please let us know if we can help you carry up your things.
Please familiarize yourself with our class policies before enrolling. Thank you!
