Nature Journaling Workshop on the Hills to Sea Trail with BBWC

Nature Journaling Workshop on the Hills to Sea Trail, Sunday, June 25, 10am-2pm.  The public is invited to observe, draw, and write about the” wild” on the Hills to Sea Trail:  plants, animals, scenes and other inspirations. Guided writing and drawing experiences will be followed by time to observe, think, write, and draw. The outing will include a mile hike on the trail.  Bring water, lunch, a journal of unlined paper, colored pencils, a lead pencil, a black pen.  Watercolors are optional. Bubble-wrap mailers are suggested as “cushions” to sit on.  Meet at 10 am at the Hills to Sea Trail crossing on East Waldo Road. From Belfast, drive High Street out of town.  From the Rt. 1 overpass, go about 3 miles. Just before you get to the train station, the road splits. Take the left fork onto East Waldo Road, drive to the top of the hill, and park roadside at the CMP substation.  FMI: Cloe at 338-1147
