Penobscot Marine Museum presents talk and slideshow at the UMaine Hutchinson Center

Belfast, Maine — Kosti Ruohomaa biographer, Deanna Bonner-Ganter and photo archivist Matt Wheeler will present a talk and slideshow on the Penobscot Marine Museum’s historic exhibit “Kosti Comes Home: An Exhibit of Maritime Images by Maine’s Iconic Photographer Kosti Ruohomaa,” Dec. 12, 6–7:30 p.m. at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

Bonner-Ganter will speak about Kosti’s life and work, and Wheeler will speak about the collection coming to the Penobscot Marine Museum and plans for the exhibit.

Both “Kosti Comes Home: An Exhibit of Maritime Images by Maine’s Iconic Photographer Kosti Ruohomaa” and “The Alluring and Enduring Maine Coast” are currently on display in the Hutchinson Center’s H. Allen and Sally Fernald Art Gallery. The exhibits and the Dec. 12 presentation are free and open to the public. The Fernald Art Gallery is open Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
