Belfast Flying Shoes and Bagaduce Music jointly present the second annual Scandinavian
Dance Party, featuring Andrea Larson and the Belfast Spelmanslag, on Sunday, September 10 at the
Unitarian Universalist Church in Belfast.
Award-winning musician and dance leader, Andrea Larson is thrilled to return to Belfast to teach easy-
to-learn Scandi dancing, including slängpolska, schottis, and waltzes. Larson, who hails from Virginia, will
be joined for the workshop and dance party by the Belfast Spelmanslag, local musicians who delight in
playing dance tunes from Sweden and Norway.
At the UU Church of Belfast, 37 Miller St. Admission $15. Masks provided for those who wish to wear

Belfast Flying Shoes was founded in 2005 with a mission to bolster the spirited dance and music
community in Midcoast Maine. The local nonprofit offers many programs in greater Belfast, including
music lessons at the Maine Coastal Regional Reentry Center.
Bagaduce Music is a nonprofit with a mission to collect, preserve and lend printed music and promote
the appreciation, knowledge and performance of music. Classes, performances, and the lending library
are hosted at their campus in Blue Hill and throughout the region.
