Yoga Fundamentals Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of yoga—breath work (pranayama), postures (asanas), and meditation—in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a long time, this workshop brings you back to the roots of the practice. We will explore basic alignment of asanas and introduce modifications suited for your body and physical needs. This fun, community centered workshop will empower you with the knowledge and confidence to continue with your yoga practice.
Perhaps you’ve been wanting to try a yoga class, but feel nervous because of limited experience, or you’ve gotten away from your yoga routine and wish to jump start your practice. This workshop is for you.

In order to adhere to CDC guidelines this workshop is limited to 6 students max.
Preregistration is required. No shows will not be refunded.
Additional CDC protocol:
Both teacher and students are required to wash their hands upon entering the studio.
Masks are not required, but welcomed.
The teacher will not practice hands-on assists.
If you are feeling ill, please refrain from coming to class. (We have several virtual options available!)
Bring your own props whenever possible, studio props are available as well. When using studio props, after class please place them in the basket provided.
Routine cleaning is doubled and surfaces/handles will be disinfected after EACH class use, as well as the usual protocol for cleaning the floors, to ensure the studio is clean and ready for the next class.
Fans have been installed in the window to draw the air out of the building and an air purifier in the yoga room.
