Getting to Know Our Trees: Tree identification

Morten Moesswilde, Maine Forest Service District Forester, will lead a hands-on session to help participants recognize a few of the most common native tree species of the midcoast. Using primarily branch samples, we’ll go through as many species as time allows. Learn to focus on a few of the important characteristics that distinguish similar species. A 10x hand lens and camera are helpful. Suitable for all 8-ish through adults.
