BELFAST — The Belfast Free Library, 106 High St., has been selected by the Maine Humanities Council to offer “Let’s Talk About It," a free reading and discussion group with copies of books available through the library. The Belfast Garden Club will sponsor an entertaining and educational program titled, “Reducing Wildlife Damage for Homeowners along the Coast of Maine,” presented by wildlife expert Maynard Stanley, Jr., of Owls Head. Fall Training 2019 Train to support patients and families facing terminal illness and loss. Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County offers end of life care and bereavement support to anyone in Waldo County at no cost. Tuesday evenings 6-9pm October 1 through November 26 plus one Saturday, October 5th (9-3pm). Cost: $65. Full scholarships available.
