Description

Belfast City Park is the city's oldest park, established in 1904. The park is a heavily used, with 17.5 acres. Park visitors enjoy a sweeping view of Penobscot Bay and is open from May to November.

When it was founded in 1904 by the Belfast Village Improvement Society, a local women's group, it was considered the group's biggest accomplishment.
