It takes a village!
Our Town Belfast is an accredited Main Street Organization. We follow a four-point approach for community transformation – Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization. We are also a volunteer-driven organization with a variety of opportunities for people to jump in and help.
Whether you have a few hours here or there or are looking for a large committment, we would be happy to talk to you about volunteering with us.
A sample of volunteer needs include:
- Downtown beautification work including seasonal plantings and decorations.
- Annual Holiday Tree Lighting
- Poster distribution around town.
- Photography at local events, follow-up press releases, press images of the downtown in general and in every season.
- Help at specific events.
